SBIR & STTR Workshop for Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs
in the Medical Device Industry
Friday, June 6, 2008, 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Please join us at this workshop and luncheon to learn from JoAnne Goodnight, the NIH Program Director, about federal funding opportu"NIH"ties for small businesses through the NIH SBIR/STTR programs - bringing products from "Lab to Life." Presentations will also be made by successful awardees of Phase 1, Phase 2, and Fast Track grants and experts will offer advice to writing a successful application.
This workshop is for inventors, entrepreneurs, and small businesses in the medical device industry.

The site aims to increase the number and sustainability of early stage medical device companies in
New England by providing targeted, industry-specific, one-on-one coaching to medtech entrepreneurs.
